·  SWEAT & STEEL: MAY 5th through the 30th.
David Swanson started out his college career in art school. David was immersed in music, by the time he was seventeen he had recorded his first single at Chess Studios in Chicago. Eventually his path veered toward painting. A return to this created the perfect foundation for the accuracy so clearly seen in his art work. David's art tells stories, like the way he scrapes the red-orange onto the canvas: you know what it would feel like to run your hand along the pitted rusty rails, smell the grease and metal. It is this combination of visual and historical accuracy that allows the viewer to access the era of railroading in Montana. Each painting depicts, in rugged precision, the railroad and the people who have worked on it, and each canvas sings.

· Gallery Choice of Exhibit: JULY 1st through September 30th.

· PRAIRIE PASTELS by Cris Fulton: OCTOBER THROUGH DECEMBER.

This artist's work is an attempt to create something from the great joy she feels when she is out in the wide-open spaces. You will reflect in her work about places you have been that bring back memories to you.
